Math & Computer Science: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Computer Science - 000773
The University of Richmond Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor starting in the 2022-23 academic year.
We are seeking a colleague who will enhance the undergraduate teaching as well as scholarly and creative opportunities provided by our computer science program. The area of specialty is open, but we especially welcome applicants with background in systems areas, including operating systems, computer organization, simulation, distributed/cloud computing, networks, cybersecurity, and software engineering. A Ph.D. in computer science is required and must be completed by the start date. Strong applicants at the associate and full professor level will also be considered.
Applicants should have the potential and desire to commit to highly effective, inclusive teaching at all levels of the undergraduate computer science curriculum and to maintain a vigorous research program that has the potential to engage undergraduates in meaningful research outcomes.
